To Truncate the WebDynpro Application Parameters.

To Truncate the WebDynpro Application Parameters when routing through Web Dispatcher without using Portal.
Go to T-code-> SICF

 

Execute it.

It will navigate to Maintain Service Page.

 

Click on External Aliases button.

Right Click on default_host to Create External Alias.

 

 

Enter the details under External Alias and Description field.

 

Click on Logon Data tab and fill the required information.

 

Next Click on Target Element tab .

Under default_host drill down for your created Program name (default_host->Sap->bc->Webdynpro->Sap->webdynpro component name).

Double Click on the Program name, save it and click on Back Menu button.

 

Right click on your Aliases Name -> click on Test Ext.Alias

 

We can see the result in the browser.

 

Before truncation  result was shown in the URL.

So (/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zwd_login) got truncated.
